High limestone bluffs harbor uncommon wildflowers such as dwarf larkspur, shooting star, wild columbine, erect trillium, and miterwort, also many ferns including walking fern and maidenhair fern as well as very rare northern white-cedar trees.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 20.

Registration through April 3 for members only.

Notes: Easy walking along the towpath but there will be a couple of short, steep trails up to the ridge and back down to the towpath.

Bring: Lunch and  drink. Field guides and binoculars optional.

Cancellation Policy: Canceled if heavy rain and/or lightning; not for light drizzle.
