Along a lovely 1 mile trail on the cliffs of Calvert overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, a carpet of toothwort, Dutchman's breeches, saxifrage, and violets lay under paw paw, oaks, viburnums and other trees and shrubs.  Early spring warblers and other birds--Louisiana Waterthrush, Yellow-throated Warbler, Blue Gray Gnatcatcher among others--will provide a musical backdrop.

Leader: Karyn Molines 

For ages 16 to adults

Bring: Hand lens, binoculars, cameras. Wear comfortable walking shoes & dress for the weather.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Limited to 15.
MNPS members and Calvert Nature Society members are FREE.  Also FREE for volunteers with the Calvert County Habitat and Plant Survey http://calvertparks.org/event-1845062.
Non-member fee is $8.

Park is closed to the public on April 23.  Only those registered will have access.
