Brave the heat and humidity of summer to explore Montgomery County's largest and most botanically diverse park.  We will see many habitats, including meadow, upland forest, floodplain and streamside.  Species of interest include Green Milkweed, Rose Gentian and Turk's Cap Lily.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 25 people.

Registration through 7/1/2016 for members only.

Notes: An easy walk, approx 1.5 mile loop.  There are no restrooms on site. Dress for the weather and wear hiking shoes.

Bring: Water, snacks, your favorite field guide. Optional: binoculars, hands lens, cameras, small notebook or free iNaturalist smartphone app to document species.

Cancellation Policy:  Light drizzle is fine but canceled if heavy rain or thunderstorms.
