Discover the important connection between native plants, people and wildlife at the second annual Mountain Maryland Native Plant Festival!

A large variety of plants native to the mid-Atlantic will be available for sale (cash or check only) from these select regional native plant nurseries. Advance orders are appreciated! Contact the two nurseries directly to order. Let them know you will be picking the plants up at the Mountain Maryland Plant Sale.

  • Natives at NGSP (survey native plants on this leisurely walk / Joe Metzger, MNPS)
  • Scavenger Hunt for New Germany Natives ❀ (find native plants with special features)

Experts from local conservation organizations, agencies and universities will answer questions on native plants and related conservation topics. Groups hosting resource tables & booths include:

Directions: From I-68 take exit 22 and follow signs for New Germany State Park. Turn left into the park onto McAndrews Hill Road. Signs will direct you to parking for this special event.
