Directions: From South and East, get to Frederick using I-70 or I-270. Stay (or get) on I-70 going West and follow it to US 522 South (Exit 1) just North of Hancock. [Figure half an hour between Frederick and Hagerstown and another half an hour between Hagerstown and Hancock] Take US 522 South across the bridge over the Potomac River into WV to the North end of Berkeley Springs and turn right onto WV 9 going West. Take WV 9 through the town of Great Cacapon and then to WV 29. Turn right onto WV 29 and follow it through the town of Paw Paw. Just after Paw Paw the road will cross the Potomac River back into MD. The entrance to the parking lot is just past the bridge on the right. [From Hancock to Berkeley Springs will take about 15 minutes. From Berkeley Springs to the parking lot should take 30 to 45 minutes.]

From the West, follow I-68 to the exit for Industrial Highway (MD 51) in Cumberland and take Industrial Highway South (away from Cumberland) to the parking lot. Look for an entrance on the left just before the bridge crosses over the Potomac River into WV and the town of Paw Paw. [From Cumberland to the parking lot should take 30 to 45 minutes.]
