We will return to the Haldeman Tract of the Weiser State Forest to
repeat our investigation begun last October, this time to add spring
flora to our list. This is a locally higher elevation site, at about
1700 ft. of Chestnut Oak-Heath forest. We will follow the Wolfe Pond
trail to Deep Hollow. List of plants found last fall will be
available. This trip is co-sponsored by Williams, Powell, Clark and
Stoney Valleys Botanical Society (WPCSV Bot. Soc).
