This is the 127^th trip in our series of field trips in the Fort Circle Parks of Washington, DC: We will visit the Fort Circle Connector between Forts Dupont and Stanton to investigate the geology and plants of the Terrace Gravel.

Notes: Easy to moderate walk.

Bring: Snack, water. Wear appropriate shoes and clothing.

Cancellation Policy: In case of impending or existing bad weather, call Mary Pat before 9 am the day of the walk.

Directions: Get on Pennsylvania Avenue SE and travel south east from Minnesota Avenue east of the Anacostia River. When you get to Branch Avenue (a lighted intersection) turn right on Branch and take the first right on Park Drive. We will meet where 32nd Place meets Park Drive.
