MNPS Field Trip: Civil War Fort Mahon

We will return to Fort Mahan (this is the 128^th trip in our Fort Circle Parks series) and go on an excursion to follow Watts Branch east to look at a supposedly restored streambank.

Notes: Easy to moderate walk.

Cancellation Policy: A light drizzle is fine, but cancelled if raining. Call Mary Pat before 9 am the day of the walk if you have any questions about possible cancellation.

Directions:  Meet across from Fort Mahan on Benning Road NE. Traveling east on Benning Road from Minnesota Av. NE go three blocks and turn right (it may be 41st Place or Street) to park on the street there or in a small parking lot just off the street at a recreation center.
