This area of big trees is not a true old-growth forest but there are towering hardwood species and it is one of the finest examples of a Piedmont forest. Join us to practice your winter tree ID and to take in the wonderful views.

Registration through February 27 for members only.

Notes: Natural surface walk over gently rolling hills with one stream crossing.

Bring: Binoculars, water, lunch, field guides, sturdy shoes and perhaps a walking stick.
