Non-native species of insects and diseases continue to arrive in the US. Are they more likely to attack plants native to the United States or will they favor exotic plants from their aboriginal home? We will review case studies of some of the most recent invaders to learn the answer and understand underlying ecological and evolutionary mechanism that explain these patterns.
