Field Trip: Habitat Survey (Wednesday)

Throughout the spring and summer, we hold several plant surveys as part of a bird banding study habitat assessment and need volunteers. Even if your plant identification skills are rusty (or lacking), helping staff and more experience volunteers record data, take photos, and create maps will allow you to learn how to identify the common and uncommon plants in the area.

Bring: Bring a lunch for after the survey, if desired. Hand-lens, binoculars, and field guides are optional. 

Notes: Dress for the weather and wear comfortable hiking shoes.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Park entrance fee is waived for those who register.
