We will trail hike near Lake Frank in Rock Creek Regional Park. There are a variety of habitats including upland and riparian woodlands and open fields.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 20.

Notes:  Moderate hike with some moderate slopes. I consider myself an amateur, but you won't get lost and we will have fun pooling our plant knowledge.

Lake Frank is in Derwood, MD  between Rockville and Gaithersburg, MD, east of I-270.

Bathrooms in nature center at parking lot.

Bring: water, snacks, field guides and binoculars.

Cancellation Policy:  Will cancel if rain predicted.
