Year of the Conifer (Tuesday)

For the past five years, the Society has selected a group of plants to highlight, study, and appreciate. 2016 is MNPS “Year of the Conifer.” Karyn Molines will present an overview of the unique adaptations of conifers, their role in native ecosystems and provide some identification tips and tricks.

Location:  Silver Spring Civic Center, 1 Veterans Pl, Silver Spring, MD 20910. (GPS device address: 8525 Fenton Street, Silver Spring) It's at the intersection of Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street.

Parking in the garage across street from the civic center, on Ellsworth, is free if you enter after 7:00 p.m.

The program is open to non-members.

Registration is not required.
