Join Montgomery Parks Forest Ecologist, Carole Bergmann, for a mid-week, early evening, Summer Solstice walk in Montgomery County’s largest park! We will hike through several habitat areas including floodplain, scrub-shrub, early succession meadow, and possibly some upland forest. We will check out what’s in bloom, but mainly, we will talk about the plant communities, listen to birds and insects, and just enjoy the evening.

Notes: There are no restrooms on site. Dress for the weather and wear hiking shoes. Easy to moderate walk.
Cancellation Policy: If rain is imminent, we will cancel. If conditions are questionable, contact Carole.
