We will hike the Seneca Creek Greenway Trail starting from Route 28. We will explore the wooded bluffs and overgrown meadows above Seneca Creek, and perhaps venture as far as the wooded slopes leading to Black Rock Mill. This stretch of trail has many invasives and we will search for the natives that can survive and even thrive under these conditions.
The leader cannot promise to provide unlimited botanical expertise, but we will have fun pooling our plant knowledge and learning together.
Leaders: Anne DeNovo and Marney Bruce
