Join us for a meander among the special plants on the Rachel Carson Greenway Trail.  If we time it right, we will see trailing arbutus, pinxter azalea and many wildflowers in bloom.

Each plant we identify will be documented to create a plant list of the park.  This year marks the 110th anniversary of Rachel Carson’s birth, so we will celebrate her great accomplishments by exploring this area which she explored and admired. (We may even have another trip on May 27 to celebrate her birthday.)  There is more information about the area from Montgomery Parks.
