Sponsoring Organization: Maryland Native Plant Society and Montgomery Parks Weed Warrior Program

We will enjoy and identify the native trees and plants along the Kingsley Trail leading to the Kingsley schoolhouse in Little Bennett Regional Park. At the same time we will identify and remove non-native invasives. You do not need to be a certified Weed Warrior to participate in this program.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 12.

Notes: We will walk about 1.5 miles. The trail is flat, but we may be in areas that are wet and/or muddy.

Bring: Field guides, water, snack, binoculars if you like, sun or rain protection. Wear long pants, longsleeved shirts and closed toe shoes. Bring work gloves if you have them. Clippers will be provided.

Cancellation Policy: We will go in drizzle or light rain but the trip will be canceled in the event of heavy rain or storms.
