We will look at the wildflowers blooming along the Brown’s Farm Trail and continue along Owens Creek if there is time and interest.
There will be 2 MNPS field trips this spring at the same location. This is the first walk, on Monday, April 24, led by Catoctin Mountain Park biologist Becky Loncosky. The second field trip will be a weekend walk led by Gary Delise and Anne DeNovo on Sunday, May 7.

Notes: Brown’s Farm Trail is an easy ¼ mile hike with some uneven ground. Trail is level, but may be muddy and swampy along Owens Creek. Restrooms at Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Center. No restrooms on site.
Cancellation Policy: We will go in drizzle or light rain but the trip will be canceled in the event of heavy rain or storms.
