Where Does My Water Come From? - A Public Forum

Please join us December 3rd, for a panel discussion about the impacts of development and stormwater runoff on the public water supply, the implications this has for future water rates, and how we can make growth smart enough to protect our water supply.

Protection of the public water supply is a key consideration in master plans for up-county watersheds that enter the Potomac upstream from drinking water intakes. However, development in these watersheds is impairing water quality and increasing the costs of drinking water treatment, which is expected to have implications for future water rates.
