MNPS Field Trip: Catoctin Wildflowers 101 (Monday)

We will look at the wildflowers blooming along the Brown’s Farm Trail and continue along Owens Creek if there is time.

There will be 2 MNPS field trips this spring at the same location. This is the first walk, on Monday, April 23, led by Catoctin Mountain Park biologist Becky Loncosky. The second field trip will be a weekend walk led by Gary Delise and Anne DeNovo on Sunday, May 6.

MNPS members only through March 25.

Notes: Brown’s Farm Trail is an easy ¼ mile hike with some uneven ground. Trail is level, but may be muddy. Restrooms at Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Center. No restrooms on site.

Cancellation Policy: We will go in drizzle or light rain but the trip will be canceled in the event of heavy rain or storms.
