Sponsoring Organization: Maryland Native Plant Society and Montgomery Parks
We will hike about one-half mile at a slow pace on natural surface trails near Meadowside Nature Center in Rock Creek Regional Park. This area has both upland and riparian woodlands. The focus will be on plants, but we will be on the lookout for anything else of interest (e.g., birds, mushrooms, reptiles, amphibians, animal sign) and encourage participants to share their knowledge. For ages 18 and up.
Leaders: Ken Bawer (MNPS)
