High limestone bluffs above an S shaped bend in the Potomac River below Snyders Landing make this a beautiful site. In addition to the spring wildflower display in the moist canal bed and bottomlands, the cool north-facing bluffs have calcium loving wild flowers and ferns not commonly found in Maryland.

Leaders: Marney Bruce and Anne DeNovo
