Sponsored by: Maryland Native Plant Society Leader: Jim Brighton, co-founder of the Maryland Biodiversity Project Maryland’s coastal plain harbors many species not seen in the piedmont or mountains, including milkweeds. On this trip, we will first visit a brackish marsh to see unusual plants, then proceed for some interesting roadside botany. “So much good stuff it is hard to list.” We will stop along the way to eat our packed lunches. For those who want to continue, we will head for Brookview Swamp. Leader Jim Brighton has explored extensively in this area.
Free. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 15 people. Registration through June 12 is for members only.
