Description:  Our walk on the new Contee Watershed Trail at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) will feature a late summer meadow, Coastal plain woodlands, streamside habitat, a cypress grove and beautiful views of a peaceful tidewater creek. 

Leaders:  Anne DeNovo, Barbara Patoka and Todd Kamens

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 15 people.

MNPS members only through August 5, 2018.

Notes:  We will walk 1-1.5 miles. Not much elevation change but the trail may be muddy.

Bring:  Field guides, sun or rain protection, insect repellent, water, snacks, camera and/or binoculars if desired.

Cancellation Policy:  Trip will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or dangerous conditions.
