Benjamin Banneker Historical Park (Fall Conference Field Trip, Saturday)

Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum is dedicated to the life and times of Benjamin  Banneker, often considered the first African-American man of science. The park’s wooded trails  harbor a variety of native and invasive plants. Participants will learn how to identify common and uncommon non-native plants, as well as natives that are seen along the way. Easy walk. The park is located near UMBC.
