Sponsoring Organization: Maryland Native Plant Society
Description: We'll explore an interesting diversity of plants which, hopefully, will be showing their fall colors and berries. Expect to see winterberry holly, summersweet, possumhaw viburnum, sweetbay magnolia, dogwood, fringetree, and much more. Many of these naturally occurring natives are commonly sold as native ornamentals. We'll also keep an eye out for mushrooms, birds, and other natural curiosities.
