Learning to identify trees in winter can be satisfying and rewarding!  Really!  With the leaves gone, the bark and overall shape come into focus.

The Wilson's Mill trail has been re-routed to pass through a different section of forest, with a new bridge so there is no longer a potentially wet stream crossing.  We will saunter, or possibly amble, through upland and floodplain forest, identifying trees and shrubs along the way.

This is part of an ongoing series of MNPS walks to develop an informal inventory of plants and bloom times in Little Bennett Regional Park.

Leader:  Sujata Roy
