County-Wide Weed Removal: Carroll County

Sponsoring Organization: Carroll County Forest Conservancy District Board

Join weed warriors at one of three local nature centers for a county-wide weed removal event. Volunteers are needed to battle invasive plants at:

• Bear Branch/Hashawha Environmental Center, Westminster
• Piney Run Nature Center, Eldersburg
• Audrey Carroll Audubon Society Bird Sanctuary in Mt. Airy (in Frederick County).

Forestry Board members and county Master Gardeners will supervise the work sessions.
