The Cheverly Green Infrastructure Science Committee is again sponsoring nature hikes, coupled with the Great Backyard Bird Count of local birds on four days (Friday through Monday, from February 15 through February 18, 2019. Two public hikes are planned for Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17 at the Woodworth and Cheverly Nature Parks respectively, and two more by invitation for experienced birders. All hikes will be guided by experienced naturalists. In addition to birds, we will also be identifying trees and whatever plants we come across. This is a great chance to get outdoors, learn about birds, trees, and other plants, and enjoy what nature has to offer this time of year.
