Description: Join us for a late winter stroll at Pennyfield Lock on the C&O Canal. We’ll wander slowly upstream, admiring the lovely diversity of trees and shrubs that grow along the towpath and learn/refresh winter ID skills. This trip is oriented towards beginners, but all are welcome. If we’re lucky, we may also see overwintering ducks, woodpeckers and songbirds.

Leader:  Tenley Wurglitz
