Lake Roland Park (Friday)

This field trip will record plants for the Baltimore's participation in the City Nature Challenge. Participants are encouraged, but not required to record findings on iNaturalist during the walk. We will pass through deciduous forest to the rare serpentine grassland, seeing blackjack and post oak, as well as a variety of herbaceous plants. This park is a good example of the management of natural plant communities in a park surrounded by suburban development.

Registration is required and is limited to 12. Registration for MNPS members only through April 3. Unrestricted registration starting April 4.
