Saturday, April 20, 2019 - 9 AM-12 noon

Sponsoring Organization: Maryland Native Plant Society

Description: The goal of this hike is to explore the plants growing along the Jones Falls Trail, including Round Falls and Druid Hill Park. We'll use bikes to travel between locations. We'll also be using iNaturalist to record the plants we find (this is optional).

Leader:  Brett McMillan

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 10 people. Not limited to MNPS members.

Notes: This will be a relatively slow roll, not a fitness ride, but the trail will be uphill for most of the trip, much of it on a gentle slope. There is a steep switchback trail to get from Falls Road up to Wyman Park Drive at Druid Hill Park that we will likely walk up.

Bring:   A working bicycle and associated supplies, like a spare tube. A pannier or backpack to carry your stuff. Please bring your favorite guidebook(s) as well. I plan to record our trip list using the iNaturalist app. I encourage others to use the app as well.

Contact (for information, not to register): Brett McMillan, bamcmillan@gmail.com

Directions: included in registration confirmation.
