Pomonkey School Native Plant Walk and Trash Cleanup

A native plant expert will lead the walk. Come explore a walk through Pomonkey Forest and along Pomonkey School Stream… see the mountain laurel at peak bloom. There are parts of the walk that are on hilly terrain. We will walk next to the Pomonkey School Stream that is a wetland of special State concern and is a tributary of Mattawoman Creek so waterproof shoes or boots are recommended.  Mattawoman Watershed Society will provide gloves and bags.
