Workshop: Seeing the Forest and the Trees

Learn and practice identifying tree species using a simple key, tour stages of forest growth, and see an amazing array of everyday products made from trees. Tree guide included in the $5 fee. Pre-registration is suggested, children ages 10 and up can use this guide. Featured guides are Francis "Champ" Zumbrun, retired Maryland Forest Service, and Elaine Raesly, Evergreen Heritage Center educator.
