MNPS Field Trip: Severn Run Natural Environmental Area

The Severn Run Natural Environmental Area is an undeveloped park protecting the Severn Run watershed. We will see climbing fern (Lygodium palmatum), maleberry, poison sumac, mad-dog skullcap, and others.  Horticulturist and plant ecologist, Chris Partain, will lead this trip.  We will carpool to small parking area along Dicus Mill Road.  Meet at Vineyard Community Center.

Directions: 

From I-97, take exit 10, Benfield Blvd, west.  Take a left on Najoles Rd.  Park in Vineyard Community Center on the left. 255 Najoles Rd # J Millersville, MD 21108-2516

NOTE:

After this month's rain, the site is VERY muddy.  Prepare to get dirty.
