We will walk about one-half mile at a slow pace on natural surface trails near Meadowside Nature Center in Rock Creek Regional Park. This area has both upland and riparian woodlands. The focus will be on plants, but we will be on the lookout for anything else of interest (e.g., birds, mushrooms, reptiles, amphibians, animal sign) and encourage participants to share their knowledge.
Leader: Ken Bawer
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 10 participants.
Notes: Moderate walk with some moderate slopes. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. Bathrooms are in the Meadowside Nature Center.
