This winter botany workshop consists of a review of botanical morphology, training in the use of a dichotomous key, and hands-on experience in the classroom and in the field. Learn how to identify both herbaceous and woody plants. The morning portion will be held in a Towson University classroom with dissecting microscopes. The afternoon portion will be in the field on Towson’s campus. There will be a lunch break. Bring your own lunch; there are also dining options on campus.
This workshop is limited to 12 participants. Registration is required.

Directions: from I-695, take exit 27A onto MD-146S/Dulaney Valley Rd toward Towson. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Dulaney Valley/York Rd. Continue to follow York Rd. Turn right onto Glen Drive. Smith Hall is at the end of Glen Drive.
