Confirmed speakers and their topics include:

  • ecological wastewater design (Erin English, Natural Systems International);
  • effects of disturbance regimes along the Appalachian Trail (Erica Smithwick, Pennsylvania State University);
  • dam removal and white cedar swamp restoration (Alex Hackman, Massachusetts Department of Fish & Game);
  • SAV restoration (Donald Cahoon, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center); and
  • avian habitat restoration along utility ROWs (Christina Frank, Pepco Holdings, Inc.).

Note that the whole event spans three days this year. Come for one, or come for all three:

  • Thursday, March 22 – Pre-Conference NOAA Workshop (35 participants max)
  • Friday, March 23 – The Big Day, including all conference sessions, exhibits, and our ever-popular Poster Pub
  • Saturday, March 24 – Field Trips
