Join former Montgomery Parks Forest Ecologist, Carole Bergmann, for an autumn hike in Little Bennett Regional Park. We will walk through a meadow and upland and floodplain forest, and talk about the trees, shrubs, wildflowers, ferns, and seedpods along the way.
The Wilson's Mill trail has been re-routed to pass through a different section of forest, with a new bridge so there is no longer a potentially wet stream crossing.
Leader: Carole Bergmann
Registration through September 10 for members only.
Notes: There are no restrooms on site. Dress for the weather and wear hiking shoes. Easy to moderate walk.
Cancellation Policy: If it is raining or rain is imminent, we will cancel. If unsure, contact Carole.
Contact: (for additional information; not to register) Carole Bergmann, 301-651-0646.
