MNPS Annual Conference Field Trip: Marshy Point by Canoe

Join the first director of Marshy Point Nature Center, Bob Stanhope, for a canoe trip on Dundee Creek, known for submerged aquatic vegetation, tidal fresh marshes, nesting Bald Eagles, and as a nursery for the fish in the Chesapeake Bay. Canoes, paddles, and PFD's supplied for $10 each.

Please bring your $10 per person fee on Sunday.

7130 Marshy Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21220

From Towson take the 695 Beltway east to exit 31-C (left lane) onto Rte. 43, White Marsh Boulevard. Follow this to the end, a T intersection with Eastern Boulevard. Turn left on Eastern. At Bengies Drive In get into the left lane (to avoid a right lane turn onto Carroll Island Rd.). After the Eastern Regional Park look for the Marshy Point Nature Center Sign on the right and follow the signs to the nature center. The field trip will start in the center's auditorium.
