Sponsoring Organization: Maryland Native Plant Society
Leader: Carole Bergmann
Join former Montgomery Parks Forest Ecologist, Carole Bergmann, for an early autumn hike in Little Bennett Regional Park. We will walk through a meadow and upland and floodplain forest, and talk about the trees, shrubs, wildflowers, ferns, and seedpods along the way.
The Wilson's Mill trail has been re-routed to pass through a different section of forest, with a new bridge so there is no longer a potentially wet stream crossing.
