Druid Hill Park, located in the heart of Baltimore City, has a unique combination of historical and contemporary land uses leading to a surprising vegetative community. Join staff from Baltimore City Forestry’s Natural Areas team to explore the hills of Druid Hill beneath a canopy of beech, oak, and tulip poplars to find an interesting mix of native plants as well as uncommon naturalizing and invasive plant species, including some categorized as early detection/rapid response.

Notes: Moderate walk of approximately 2 miles with significant elevation change
Bring: Sturdy shoes or boots, water, snacks
Cancellation Policy: Trip will proceed in light rain; we will cancel or reschedule in case of high winds or other severe weather.
