Zoom opens at 7:00PM for pre-program board update and member Q&A. Presentations begin at 7:30PM and generally run until 8:45PM. 

The speakers will discuss Special Conservation Areas in Prince George’s County, Best Natural Areas in Montgomery County, and the newly acquired Charles Branch Conservation Park near Marlton, Maryland. 

DOM has 30 years of experience in natural resources management, land planning, and land acquisition for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission- Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation. He authored the Serpentine Barrens Conservation Park Master Plan, coauthored the Wheaton Regional Park Master Plan, and coordinated the acquisition of Fairland Conservation Park, the Royce Hanson Conservation Park and the Charles Branch Conservation Park. A graduate of Frostburg State University, Dom holds American Planning Association certification, is a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture, and a Maryland Department of Natural Resources appointed Montgomery County Forestry Board member. A recovering ultramarathoner, Dom enjoys hiking with his family and dogs (Olive and Chewy). He is equally at home in deep woods or an Italian Trattoria.

KERRY is a native Marylander with over 15 years’ experience studying Maryland's flora and fauna. She holds a B.S. degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management from Frostburg State University and a M.S. degree in Biology from West Virginia University. She previously worked for the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
