Winter Greens: Identification of plants that are green in the winter.
Learn to identify some of our evergreen plants, including ferns, fern allies, herbaceous and woody plants.For adults or older teens.

Wear warm clothes for standing around outside (we won't be moving very fast)
Bring (optional, but useful) a 10x hand lens, binoculars, field guides.
Entrance Fee: $3 per vehicle. Pay when you arrive at the Park.
Registration is not required, but registrants will receive notices of changes or cancellations.

Directions: Take Route 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) SOUTH from either the Washington Beltway (495) or US301. Continue 10 miles south of Prince Frederick, look for the sign along ROUTE 4 and turn LEFT onto Flag Ponds Parkway.
