Nine-hundred+ acres in Crownsville, it is graced with upland streams, lily-filled ponds, nesting birds and spring wild flowers. Trailing arbutus, mountain laurel, blueberries and other heaths can be found along the trails.
Hikes range from one to four miles on marked trails. Bird and nature guides, as well as tours of history cemetery, are available throughout the weekend as well.
Directions: Take Generals Highway to Crownsville Road. Turn right on Marbury Road (within 1/4 mile of Generals Hwy). Follow signs to parking and trail head.
