Pemberton Park is comprised of 262 acres of Eastern Shore forest, field and wetland habitat. We will have the chance to examine numerous Eastern shore ecosystem examples including fresh water tidal marsh, Wicomoco river wetlands, pine forests, upland deciduous forests, wildflower meadows. Pemberton Park is a 5.9 mile drive from Salisbury University, and we will walk on about 2 miles of Pemberton's 4.5 miles of established nature trails.
