Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is home to an incredible amount of plant and animal diversity in its three major habitats – forest, marsh and shallow water. The refuge contains one-third of Maryland's tidal wetlands, which makes it an ecologically important area within the state. We will be walking on a road leaving from the Visitor’s Center, connecting to a trail into the forest and back the same route. Easy.
Start and end times are subject to change. Final details will be available at the conference.
Registration is restricted to the fall conference attendees. You can select this field trip when you register for the conference.
